Leather artistry

Irwan Danny Mussry, President and CEO of Time International, hosted a cocktail party in celebration of Berluti’s first anniversary in Indonesia. The French brand was founded by Alessandro Berluti in 1895, starting off as a bespoke shoemaker. To highlight its legacy, the event featured in-house tattoo artist Davide Zabbira, who showcased the art of Venetian leather tattoo. The technique, made to maintain leather condition, was introduced by the brand in 2008. In commemoration of the event, two of Berluti’s Un Jour briefcases received a special Garuda tattoo.
