IMPERFECT REGULARITY

Giorgetti’s exhibits at this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan included the Galet low table by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba. The designers were inspired by the “imperfect regularity of a pebble as a surface on which a world of images come to life. A pebble, thrown towards a lake, challenges the skill of adults and children in making it skip across the surface of the water.” This is the idea behind a series of low tables with the base in leather and the top available in ash with different finishes, from natural to grey anthracite. Available at Prodotti, the tables are lacquered and come in four sizes from 80 sq cm to 190 by 110 cm.
