Le Méridien Visconti Rome in Prati district has opened its doors after undergoing a renovation led by Ara Design International. The 240-room hotel boasts customdesigned guestrooms and suites, and a transformation of public spaces, including Le Méridien Hub. The redesign is rooted in geometrical references to Rome’s fabled treasures, notably the Pantheon. The interior is mid-century modernism: a material palette of marble, wood and natural textures juxtapose vibrant textile blocks with references to the work of Italian architect Gio Ponti. lemeridien.com/rome
