ASKED WHY IT’S important to show her support for Lovepink Indonesia and its mission, 28-year-old entrepreneur Monica Soedar keeps her reasoning simple: “Women should empower other women.”
Adds the founder and CEO of the Monsoer & Moonlight handmade jewellery brand: “Not only can women be leaders, we can also lead with heart. The purpose of this initiative is to give hope to those who are affected and to let them know that we are behind them 100 percent.”
Since joining Heritage Millennials, Monica says she has gained mentorship and increased her knowledge of entrepreneurship, while forging bonds with other members of the group. “It’s good to be part of an organisation that has a certain vision of going big, while also nurturing philanthropic values,” she says. “We learn to be entrepreneurs with a heart.”
