THE INCIDENCE OF breast cancer is very high among underprivileged women, and treating it is expensive. It takes time and money,” points out Dewi Ema Anindia. “By supporting this charitable project as a member of Heritage Millennials, I’m glad that I can help some of those in need. As a doctor, I know how harmful breast cancer can be. It drains not only the patient’s body, but also their mind and soul.”
Dewi, aged 29, is a medical practitioner at Adityawarman Clinic in South Jakarta. A born entrepreneur, she has opened a beauty clinic chain named Beautified in Medan, and she plans to set up another chain of clinics, Anugerah Mas, to serve poor people.
As well as her medical work, Dewi is one of the founders of Cocotier, a women’s clothing brand. “The brand emphasises the spirit of the young generation,” she says. “It’s fun and casual, with a touch of French street style. Being part of Heritage Millennials gives me opportunities to meet inspiring and talented people. I get invaluable pieces of advice from seniors who are experts in their fields.”
