ANYTHING THAT HELPS eradicate a problem for the world that is as serious as breast cancer has got to be a good thing,” says 28-year-old Mahanugra Kinzana. “My company and I personally will always be ready to support efforts to raise funds to help people find and afford the health care they need.”
Kinzana is one of the founders of Negarawan, an online batik readyto-wear line for men. He launched Negarawan in 2014, starting out by selling batik clothing on Instagram. A year later, he launched Garuda by Negarawan, which offers men’s bespoke and business-to-business batik and non-batik tailoring products. These days, Negarawan also has brick-and-mortar stores in Pondok Indah Mall 2 and Kemang Village.
“In the business world, if you are a new entrepreneur there are two things that are the hardest to achieve: getting a pure mentorship and funding,” says Kinzana. “I see that Heritage Millennials, with Heritage Amanah partners, can help us find both. The other thing is, I see that this organisation has the resources to help a business grow globally.”
