“BREAST CANCER AFFECTS a woman’s personality, her confidence and her outlook on life,” says Rani Tachril. “This is why women must work together to help each other out when it’s needed. You must be there for them, because having somebody with you during the hard times actually feels good. We want to show compassion, empathy and sympathy, all these good positive vibes for the women that we can help.
“We’ll be selling our collections at the event to raise funds for Lovepink and the breast cancer awareness movement. I think that as a millennial, I must set a good and positive example for my peers. If they are inspired by my actions, I’ve done well and become a better person as a result.”
Rani Tachril is the founder of jewellery brand Alenka and Margo. “The idea of the brand is to create pieces that embodies cultural values and the rich legacy of Indonesia’s enchanting beauty.” says Rani. “Through joining Heritage Millennials, I get to meet a lot of people and learn from their amazing perspectives. It’s exciting to be part of the organisation and to be able to give back through this project.”
