“I HAVE AN aunt who has dealt with breast cancer, so this cause bears a personal significance for me,” says Kezia Toemion. The co-founder of Esqa, a vegan cosmetics line, goes on: “Everyone knows a mom, a sister or someone who has gone through breast cancer. I support this cause because people need to know that a high percentage of women are affected by it. Raising funds for research is one of the ways in which to show our solidarity.”
Kezia says she and her business partner, Cindy Angelina, are delighted to be part of an organisation that supports breast cancer awareness and believes in community spirit.
“We are lucky to be provided with a platform that wants to give back and make a difference,” says the 27-year-old entrepreneur “Heritage Millennials also offers a good networking experience. You get to meet this great group of people who are on the same journey as you. We support each other and are proud of each other’s successes.”
