style and sensibilit­y of its designer, the namesake American lifestyle brand Tory Burch has continued its phenomenal growth from when it was first launched in 2004. Offering ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, accessorie­s, watches, home and fragrance, the strength of the brand lies in its sense of modern luxury, workmanshi­p and quality.

Since expanding globally in 2009, Tory Burch has done especially well in Asia. While her stores have strategica­lly popped up to better serve the brand’s strong customer base in this part of the world, the businesssa­vvy Burch (who’s also the CEO and CCO of her company) had said, “We also want to be careful; we don’t just want to be everywhere. It’s about looking long-term.”

The grand opening event of the Tory Burch flagship store at Landmark Alexandra in Hong Kong was held on March 8, 2018. Tory Burch herself graciously hosted the cocktail party at the boutique where guests got the chance to explore the new space and shop Tory Burch’s latest collection.

A dedicated capsule collection was presented only for the event. Like the spring/summer 2018 line, it draws on the archive of English interior designer David Hicks.
