FOR THIS AUTUMN/WINTER SEASON, Petit Bateau chose Japanese culture as the primary inspiration for the season. Present for more than 30 years, this new collection is defined by a subtle balance between tradition and modernity, urbanism and nature, energy and serenity.

The season’s color palette vibrates with subtlety: grays are synonymous with softness and elegance; the blues of Lake Hokkaido evoke calm and primal origins; deep greens are hymns to nature that magnify bright yellows; vibrant reds reflect Shibuya’s neon lights; and the reds of Nezu envelop in a soft cocoon. While graphic and conversational prints add a signature dynamic rhythm to the landscapes of the season.

For babies, the brand reinforces its ecological commitment with a range of organic cotton products. The Oeko-Tex certified clothes fulfill a promise to protect the most delicate skin. This season the collection offers freedom, comfort and creativity. Petit Bateau combines softness and authenticity with knit fabrics and clever cuts. The “My Clever Petit Bateau” range illustrates this approach by reinventing the brand’s essentials for even more convenience. The shortall with its snap-on bib and the jumpsuit with fold-back feet make life easier for parents and give them more time to cuddle. Soft, cocooning fabrics and faux fur make babies feel warm all winter long.

Petit Bateau looks forward to the rain this winter with a new water-repellent windbreaker for young and old. This lightweight piece will go with them everywhere. A play on Scottish tartans, has been designed to be mixed and matched to face the elements with fun style. Creativity is just the thing to brighten up the winter grays! Particular attention is paid to accessories. A scarf, a pretty collar, a pair of colorful socks, a warm infinity scarf, they all play together to create the look.

Emphasis on the prints, the kids collection is the balance between tradition and modernity that marks the entire collection. Does not hesitate to color outside the lines with a modern and dynamic tartan, the brand combines its prints with a graphic style that is very much of the moment. For little girls, floral motifs mix with the lines of the tartan, while little boys get a more “sporty-chic” touch. The special holiday collection is an opportunity to celebrate while having fun.
