BORN IN THE 1950s under the direction of Romualdo Dori, Italian brand Rodo combines quality and attention to detail. These elements are then bolstered by the drive to innovate and expand, which most recently took the form of extensions to the brand’s factory in Mogliano, Italy. The newly extended working spaces and improved logistic are dedicated to the Rodo of the future.

Of course, this is not the only news from Rodo: There is also its latest winter collection, featuring sophisticated design for its bags and shoes. It includes a new incarnation of the Paris Bag as well as the Lunch Bag. These bags are made using Napa leather, which is particularly noted for its soft feel. Meanwhile, metallic touches and Swarovski crystals impart an iridescent effect on the bags.

Rodo has also introduced new bags decorated with geometric lines. The Giza bag, for one, now sports a pyramid shape and comes with a zip closure. It is also made available in several different materials to suit different occasions. Then there is the Bino Bag in calfskin, whose metal clasp recalls the design of the binocular bag.

Moving on to the shoe collection, we have the familiar Rodo weave in supple leather. The loafers, in particular, are made using the same techniques and employ the same graphics that were used for the wicker pieces released in the summer. The same goes for the heel of the suede ankle boots. Furthermore, contrasting double piping are used for the high boots and ankle boots that come in soft Napa leather.

A little news from the Rodo factory. It has just finished the extension works of its factory in Mogliano, Italy. All of the newly extended working spaces and the logistic, it is all in the full respect of nature, the territory and the working environment.
