Master of the Game
The Macallan M Masters, a prestigious golf event that aims to serve as a platform for esteemed individuals to connect and network, goes regional this year with Indonesia being one of it. Hosted by The Macallan Indonesia, there are three qualifying rounds for M Masters 2019 and the final playoffs will be hosted at Nikanti Golf Club and Amata Spring Country Club in Bangkok. Outreach to recruit participants was done through the Club’s members’ association and The Macallan Indonesia VIP List, garnering more than 60 players for the first game of the season. First qualifying round was held on August 9 in Jakarta – Damai Indah Golf, Pantai Indah Kapuk, second qualifying round was at Cengkareng Golf Club – Soewarna on August 16. After the game, the day was concluded with a ceremonial dinner in the evening, with The Macallan’s on free flow throughout the whole night. Fun in-house games also helped the players connect with each other, and the fine spirits by The Macallan ensured plenty of chatter and banter about the day’s game. At the second qualifying round’s dinner, The Macallan provided each table with samples of the finest whiskies from The Macallan’s premium range. The final qualifying round on August 30 at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club, where more than 120 participants were recruited to join the round. The 12 winners will represent Indonesia in the Final Tournament of Macallan M Masters in Bangkok on 23 September 2019 -26 September 2019.
