GENTING CRUISE LINES has bagged multiple accolades this year for Dream, Crystal and Star Cruises. With over 25 years of experience in the cruise industry in Asia and beyond, Genting Cruise Lines continues to collect a lot of recognitio­n with its commitment and success in further developing the cruise industry, both in the region and globally with three of its leading cruise brands.

Dream Cruises’ Genting Dream and World Dream earned high marks, ranking 8th and 9th respective­ly for the “Large Resort Ship” category in the Berlitz Cruising and Cruise Ships 2020 guide. Both Genting Dream in Singapore and World Dream in Hong Kong/Nansha (Guangzhou) are the only two ships to homeport year-round in Asia to be included in the Top 10 position for the category. Dream Cruises’ newest ship Explorer Dream, also made her debut in the guide under the “Mid-Sized Ship” category, ranked 17th in the Top 20 position. Genting Dream was also named “Asia’s Best Cruise Ship” at the 2019 Asia Cruise Awards presented during the 2019 Asia Cruise Forum in Jeju, South Korea. Dream Cruises continued its winning ways as the “Best Luxury Cruise Line” and garnered the Grand Jury Award at the SpaChina Awards 2019 for Dream Cruises’ Crystal Life Spa.

As Crystal Cruises grows its presence in Asia under Genting Cruise Lines, the cruise brand was also recognized and ranked on 7th position for Crystal Cruises’ Crystal Serenity and 8th for Crystal Symphony in the “Mid-Sized Ship” category for the Berlitz Cruising and Cruise Ship 2020 guide, carrying on the brand’s tradition of excellence into 2020.

Meanwhile Star Cruises, the first cruise line to be inducted into the Travel Trade Gazette’s (TTG) “Travel Hall of Fame” for winning ‘Best Cruise

Operator in the Asia Pacific’ ten years in a row, celebrated its twelfth consecutiv­e year in receiving the industry’s highest accolade. Star Cruises was also voted “Asia’s Leading Cruise Line 2019” at this year’s 26th Annual World Travel Awards Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony 2019 in Vietnam recently, marking Star Cruises’ eighth consecutiv­e win since 2012 with votes from travel and tourism profession­als worldwide.
