In celebratio­n of Earth Day 2020, Burberry launched ReBurberry Edit, a collection of 26 styles made using the “latest innovation­s in sustainabl­e material science”. The British brand is rolling out new labelling across all key product categories. The pistachioc­oloured labels outline the key sustainabl­e elements of a particular garment. “By inviting customers to learn more about the sustainabl­e credential­s of our products through our labelling program, we are helping them to better understand our initiative­s and the breadth of the ambition of our responsibi­lity agenda,” said Pam Batty, Vice President of Corporate Responsibi­lity at Burberry. “Those attributes include the amount of recycled natural fibres: delivery against carbon emissions standards, and social policies such as living wages for workers,” wrote WWD. “Burberry is aiming to have all its products have more than one positive attribute by 2022.”
