An Icy Blue World
Montblanc’s famous 1858 line has always focused on sporty vintage timepieces that pay tribute to the brand’s heritage and humanity’s yearning to reconnect with nature. On that note, this year’s 1858 watches channel the serenity of glaciers and snow-capped mountains through touches of blue and icy white elements. This inspiration is particularly palpable on the Montblanc 1858 Geosphere, which is dedicated to the world’s Seven Summit mountaineering challenge. Quite appropriately, the two turning hemisphere globes on this watch – the most distinctive element of the line – feature blue dots marking the aforementioned Seven Summits along with the Mont Blanc.
