Potato Head has opened a new plant-based restaurant in Seminyak, Tanaman (+62 361 4737 979). The eatery celebrates the nostalgia for Indonesia’s classic recipes, using organic produce and ingredient­s. Among the dishes are Lumpia Basah, filled with fresh vegetables and served with a sweet-and-sour dipping sauce; Rendang Nangka, Tanaman’s vegan version of the popular dish made with caramelise­d young jackfruit, braised in coconut milk for 16 hours until tender; Sate Jamur, inspired by Indonesian street food; and Bubur Sumsum, a dessert of coconut mint sorbet, pandan-flavoured rice pudding and coconut nectar.
