AESTHETICALLY PLEASING
Four of our new favourite timepieces this month showcase a myriad of colours on the dial
The Swiss watchmaker Omega recently hosted a special event in London to celebrate the vivid Aqua Terra Shades collection with brand ambassadors Zoë Kravitz, Zhou Dongyu, and Eddie Redmayne as the evening’s special guests. Of particular note, the new collection from the brand has been launched with various dial colours on a spectrum ranging from ocean to earth. Available in 34mm or 38mm sizes, the timepieces give its wearer plenty of choices to suit their character.
Chopard is adding a new ultra-thin model with a small seconds indication to its Alpine Eagle collection. Titled the Alpine Eagle 41 XPS, the watch is the epitome of accuracy and dependability with its chronometer certification and 65-hour power reserve guaranteed by Chopard Twin technology. Housed in a 41mm diameter case in exclusive, ultra-resistant Lucent Steel, the watch also has a textured “Monte Rosa Pink” dial and the coveted Poinçon de Genève certification.
The latest iteration of the Hermès H08 watch welcomes brightly coloured variations of yellow, green, blue, or orange on the watch-glass seal, the minutes’ track, and the varnished second’s hand that accentuate the clarity of this display. Beneath the deep shades and colourful touches, the timepiece is completed with a Hermès H1837 mechanical self-winding movement and a rubber strap with a structured “woven” effect that matches the colours of each model.
Breitling recently added six new references to the Premier models, all powered by the self-winding Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01. Among the six new Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph 42 watches that are joining the line-up, one that catches the attention is the green dial version with a stainless-steel seven-row bracelet with a butterfly clasp. To create the design of the new Premier, Breitling preserved the distinctive vintage-Premier design details like the twin-register dial and streamlined rectangular pushers.
