In celebration of the BNI Emerald programme, 10 pairs of BNI Emerald’s most loyal customers were given the chance to experience Hong Kong and Shanghai at its best on August 18-25. Prior to the day of departure, they were treated to fine dining and a stay at Bandara International Hotel at Soekarno Hatta airport. Wanting their customers to travel in style, BNI ensured that these valued customers travelled in finest Business Class on Cathay Pacific.
Upon their arrival in Hong Kong, the customers made their way to the BNI branch office in the Admiralty area. Not only did they witness the superb services offered by the branch, such as the stunning lounge and concierge, the group was also given
useful travel tips, including how to make easy financial transactions, all of which played a vital part during their travels. To conclude their first day, the customers enjoyed a scenic sunset dinner at the luxury, contemporary and uberchic Sevva restaurant before retreating to the Marco Polo Hotel in Harbour City, Hong Kong.
As the morning sunlight hit the sky, the group started its second day with a cooking class in Cooktown, where all guests competed to make the most delicious cookies. And the culinary experiences didn’t stop there! The cookie competition was followed by lunch at Tin Lung Heen Restaurant at The Ritz- Carlton, Hong Kong.
The restaurant not only serves the most delectable dishes, but also offers a spectacular skyline view of the city from the 102nd floor. With their tummies full, the group continued on to experience Hong Kong’s rich culture, history, religion and nature at the traditional Ngong Ping Village. There they witnessed the world’s largest bronze Buddha statue before savouring an authentic Chinese dinner at the Peking Garden Restaurant.
The fourth morning was the time for the loyal BNI Emerald customers to fly to Shanghai in Cathay Pacific’s lavish Business Class. Continuing via the famous Shanghai Maglev Train, they reached the stunning Peninsula Shanghai for a good night’s rest.
Ready for the next great adventure, the group enjoyed a stroll around the lively Xin Tian Di area before chatting over the trademark afternoon tea at Fairmont Peace Hotel’s Jasmine Lounge. On the last night of their trip, the customers were pleasantly surprised by BNI’S last gift, which came in the form of an elegant dinner while cruising along the Shanghai River at night marking a sweet end to the BNI Emerald travel experience. n
