Sweet Sips

Plaga’s newly unveiled Frizzante is the refreshing wine you need for every occasion

-

At every memorable party, there is always great company and even greater drinks. No stranger to the nation, local winemaker Plaga is just one of the ways to ensure a great night.

Though it might have been unheard of more than five years ago, Plaga is one of the first companies that successfully brought the art of winemaking to Indonesia. Enjoyed by many, the Bali-based winemaker has much to celebrate with the unveiling of its 10th wine last August.

Finally entering the Indonesian market, Plaga wine is delighted to present its latest rich-yet-refreshing fizz, Frizzante. Made from illustrious Sicilian grapes, Frizzante adopts the sweet taste of Muscat, which is balanced by the acidic bubbles that keep the drink light and refreshing. Just like its other wines, Plaga ensures that Frizzante is made with the same calibre as famed vineyards in Australia, Chile, and California. For this sparkling drink, the process starts with a 20-day fermentation with Italian yeast at low temperatures in stainless-steel tanks. Once the wine is left to age for six months, it is then encased in finegrade Italian bottling line, ensuring security and longevity for Plaga’s latest addition.

The wine itself is fragrant in nature with notes of pear, apple, jasmine and pineapple that give a unique and memorable aftertaste upon every sip. With an alcohol level of 4.9 per cent, Frizzante can be paired with any meal and brought to any occasion. Whether it’s to an outdoor lunch or a dinner party, Plaga’s latest addition is a versatile drink that will lighten up any mood.
