Thai Air­ways places A350 on Lon­don route

THAI AIR­WAYS IS TO OP­ER­ATE its A350 air­craft on one of the air­line’s two daily ser­vices be­tween Lon­don and Bangkok from Septem­ber 18.

The new-gen­er­a­tion Air­bus air­craft will serve the car­rier’s overnight flight TG917 from Lon­don, re­plac­ing a B777. Thai’s other daily flight (TG911), which de­parts Lon­don at lunchtime, will con­tinue to be op­er­ated by an A380.

The car­rier’s A350 is wifi-equipped and has 321 seats – 32 fully-flat busi­ness class seats and 289 in econ­omy.

Thai took de­liv­ery of its first A350 in Au­gust 2016. By next month it will have seven of the air­craft. tha­iair­ways.com
