NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY

-

At the National Portrait Gallery, delegates have the opportunity to dine alongside paintings that date from the 15th century to the present, and can even choose their favourite faces to sit next to, be they Horatio Nelson, JK Rowling or Paul McCartney.

There are five venues that can be hired for sitdown banquets including the Lerner Galleries for 100 people, and the Victorian Galleries for 120, which is lined with marble statues. The Balcony Gardens is ideal for receptions and displays portraits of well-known figures from the sixties to the nineties. The Ondaatje Wing theatre has tiered seating for 150 people.

The entirety of the three-floor National Portrait Gallery is available for exclusive hire Monday to Wednesday evenings (up to 1,000 guests) and throughout the week for breakfast. The Portrait restaurant is available for receptions and dinners on Saturdays and Sundays. A private tour guide can be arranged for evening events.
