MUSEUM OF LONDON

-

Dedicated to the history of the capital, the Museum of London can be rented exclusively for a range of evening events (1,000 for a reception or 350 seated) ranging from product launches to black tie ceremonies. Actors in period dress can also be booked to interact with guests. In terms of venues,

there is the impressive Victorian Walk, which uses the original 19th-century façades of bars, banks, confectioneries and doll shops. The Galleries of Modern London includes the (indoor) Pleasure Garden, which depicts the green spaces built for London’s high society in the 1800s. Within this setting is a dimly lit room filled with mannequins adorned with original costumes, wigs, masks and hats of the period. The largest space is the Sackler Hall, which can be taken over by 600 people standing. The newest gallery (50 guests for dinner) features Thomas Heatherwick’s London 2012 Olympic Cauldron.
