STRAND PALACE HOTEL

BELMOND CADOGAN HOTEL
Belmond reopened the former Cadogan hotel in Chelsea last month, four years since its closure. The 54-room hotel, home to more than 400 works of original art, underwent a US$48 million renovation and includes a restaurant overseen by Adam Handling and access to the private Cadogan Place gardens. belmond.com
THE BILTMORE
The Millennium hotel in Mayfair, which shut in July last year, will reopen as the Biltmore this spring after a multimillionpound renovation. The first European Hilton LXR property will see the addition of an al-fresco terrace, cocktail bar and fitness suite. hilton.com
AMBA VICTORIA
The Grosvenor hotel next to Victoria station, owned by GLH, will be rebranded as Amba Victoria after renovations are finished. The Grosvenor Arms restaurant and Tea Lounge have reopened, while the rest of the hotel including guestrooms will be completed by the end of 2019. amba-hotel.com
