KIMPTON VIVIDORA BARCELONA:

IHG’s Kimpton brand has begun welcoming guests to its first Spanish property. Located in the Gothic Quarter, the 166-room hotel offers yoga mats, free bike hire and an evening “social hour” when free drinks are served. Rooftop pool and bar Terraza de Vivi has views over the city, and there’s also an all-day café.

VILLA COPENHAGEN:

Opening in May in the Danish capital, a neo-baroque former Central Post Office has been transforme­d into Villa Copenhagen, a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts’ LVX collection. Located next to Central station, the luxury hotel’s 390 rooms feature contempora­ry Nordic décor. It also has an outdoor heated pool.

FOUR SEASONS MADRID:

Located in a set of seven historic buildings near Puerta del Sol, this 200-room hotel is due to open next month. It will have a four-level spa with an indoor pool, sun terrace, treatment rooms and a 24-hour gym. Chef Dani Garcia will run Dani, a rooftop restaurant serving Andalusian cuisine indoors, with an outdoor terrace.

NOBU WARSAW:

The Polish capital is set to get its first Nobu hotel in June. The designorie­nted property on Wilcza Street will have two wings – a “classic” wing in a refurbishe­d 1920s art deco building, formerly the Hotel Rialto; and a new-build one. It will have a Nobu restaurant serving popular dishes from the brand’s other locations.
