BRITISH FRAGRANCE HOUSE Clive Christian Perfume unveils two limited edition versions of its brand favourites this month: the 1872 Mandarin and X Neroli. The former is a fusion of sweet violet and citrus notes, inspired by the scent of orange blossom. The latter has accents of verdant fruit of bitter orange and neroli flowers.

The new fragrances pay homage to Queen Victoria, with her crown featured on every bottle – Prince Albert gave her a brooch depicting a sprig of orange blossom at their engagement. Every bottle is individually numbered, with only 1,872 units created of each perfume – a nod to the founding year of the brand’s predecessor, Crown Perfumery Company – while the bottle also features a motif of blossoming orange trees and fine calligraphy.
