-

RENÉ REDZEPI ALWAYS SEEMS TO FIND A WAY TO GRACE OUR gourmet section and this time, he’s doing it in five-star style. The former world’s best restaurant (according to various panels) is now a true travelling troupe, and will lift off later this month aboard the Four Seasons Private Jet. Gourmands will soar sky high to track down the people, places, and products that are changing the global culinary landscape, calling at Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Chiang Mai, Mumbai, Florence, Lisbon, Copenhagen and Paris. Highlights include meeting with pioneering wine makers Tenuta di Valgiano and truffle hunting in the medieval village of San Miniato before returning to Florence for a private visit to the Galleria Dell’Accademia, which famously houses Michelangelo’s statue of David. In Noma’s native Copenhagen, guests will receive a special welcome from Redzepi, the mastermind of the entire journey. The chef’s team will welcome guests on a foraging journey with aperitifs on Amager Beach, to learn about the evolution of their innovative methods and their vision for the future of Noma. The trip concludes in the City of Light with a secret wine cellar experience at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris and a farewell dinner at Le Cinq, the hotel’s three-Michelin-star restaurant. The experience takes place May 27-June 24, and will cost US$135,000 per person, based on double occupancy.
