Mandarin Oriental, Taipei will collaborate once again with French perfumer, Dior, hosting another aromatic afternoon tea for guests. The J’adore In Joy Afternoon Tea follows the success of last year’s run and will be available at Café Un Deux Trois until May 14. Inspired by the alluring scent of the perfume, J’adore In Joy, French executive pastry chef Gregory Doyen has specially handcrafted a beautiful array of pastries for the afternoon tea at TWD 1,050 (US$35) per person. All guests will receive an exclusive gift set from the perfumer, which includes a miniature of J’adore In Joy, making this afternoon out doubly pleasurable, a sensual treat for both taste and smell. Chef Gregory Doyen captures J’adore In Joy’s bold and vibrant notes of fleur de sel and ylang-ylang, and its fruity sweetness of peach, in his creations for the afternoon tea, including foie gras with peach crêpe rolls, lemon cream cheese with jasmine jelly, and smoked ham puff with fleur de sel.
