A TASTE OF MAGIC

Nothing could be more Miami than an evening at EDGE Steak & Bar.

RISING ABOVE MIAMI’S SKYLINE, JUST A block from the too-blue waters of Biscayne Bay, the Four Seasons Hotel Miami is a pillar of sophistication, a star of the city’s neon- edged skyline, and one of the area’s AAA Five Diamond hotels.

It’s perfect for cruisers overnighting before or after a cruise from Miami, but anyone spending time around the town can — and should — visit one of its best attractions: EDGE Steak & Bar. With seating indoors and on a rooftop terrace, this eclectic and contemporary restaurant and bar serves a slice of modern Miami.

The menu highlights an inventive selection of Latin-Asian fusion cuisine. Chef Aaron Brooks, named the Miami “Lambassador” by Meat & Livestock Australia, brings these two cultures together by focusing on two ingredients: steak and locally caught seafood, served in smaller portions with choice sauces and accompaniments, and prepared with seasonal sides.

Start with a kangaroo empanada (with a spicy ají picante) or lobster cocktail (with Key lime crème fraiche). Then dive into a yellowtail snapper entrée or Australian A5 churrasco steak carved from generously marbled wagyu beef, served with your selection of sauce — from tamarind BBQ to classic Bearnaise to Malbec jus to lemon parsley butter (and even more to choose from). On the side, sample whatever farm-fresh vegetables are in season. Finish with the featured cheese or a choice of American bean-to-bar chocolate — and maybe something nice from the bar, which serves old standbys as well as intriguing drinks like the cigar-infused “New” Fashioned rum cocktail and a Smoke and Tears, which combines Patron, spicy mango-habanero reduction, agave, and Aperol.

Nothing could be more magical in Miami.
