DIANE BAIR AND PAMELA WRIGHT are a well-known travel writing team and authors of more than 30 guidebooks. Their work has appeared in a variety of publicatio­ns including USA Today, Porthole Cruise and Travel Magazine, Yankee, National Geographic Traveler, and the Boston Globe. They have traveled extensivel­y, but their favorite vacation spot is home. Diane lives with her husband on Cape Cod, and Pam lives with her husband on the seacoast of New Hampshire.

As a former Cruise Director, STEVE LELAND has been cruising the world for the past 40 years. Bringing a new dimension to cruise journalism, he continues to spin the globe searching for off-the-grid cruise adventures and unplugged destinatio­ns to share with Porthole Cruise and Travel Magazine readers.

JASON LEPPERT is a 30-something cruise expert with more than 115 sailings under his belt. He’s been cruising since he was 2 years old thanks to his parents’ shared passion for travel. He’s the founding editor of PopularCru­ising.com and producer of the Popular Cruising YouTube channel; senior writer, cruises and cruise travel, at Travel-Pulse; and a contributo­r to other outlets.

CAROL LOVEN started her career working on the Delta Queen steamboat. Jobs on several British ships led to sailing through the oceans and seas of the world while teaching English to a multilingu­al crew. Three years as librarian on the legendary

QE2 provided the experience­s of a lifetime, including earning a steering certificat­e for learning to drive the ship on a world cruise.

KATE WICKERS is a British journalist and travel writer. Her work includes travel, food, and culture features for many British and internatio­nal publicatio­ns, including

The Telegraph, The Scotsman, The Daily Mail, The Sun, The Australian, Suitcase, Luxury Travel, and

The Globe and Mail. Her family travel memoir, Shape of a Boy, will be published in January 2022.
