If you’re lucky enough to have din­ner ashore, the must- try res­tau­rant ex­pe­ri­ence is at Los Tres Gal­los, an eatery named for three singers and movie stars of the golden age of Mex­i­can cin­ema. So com­mit­ted is Los Tres Gal­los to an au­then­tic tra­di­tional meal that the owner’s mother makes pe­ri­odic vis­its to the kitchen to make sure dishes are made with the req­ui­site amount of love, and on- site ar­ti­sans craft the ta­bles, chairs, and other fur­nish­ings.

For those with a lim­ited amount of time ashore, a visit to landmark lo­cal canti­nas such as Cabo Wabo, El Squid Roe, or Mango Deck is rec­om­mended. All keep long hours and serve food as well as drinks.
