Ambient sounds are important to a good night’s sleep, meditation, or work. A new app by Numero Group, called Environments, includes 22 fully remastered analog recordings including ocean waves, gentle rain, birdsongs, thunderstorms, and more. The sounds are based on vinyl recordings created in the 1970s by new age music pioneer Irv Teibel, who recorded countless ambient field recordings as part of his Environments series. Internet connection is not required. Night, night!
