In this option, you pick a port on your cruise and use the sailing as transportation to your wedding. The only downside: Cruises can change itinerary if storms are coming, so this isn’t the right choice in, say, the Caribbean during hurricane season. In addition, if you want the ceremony to be official and not symbolic, then you need to follow the laws of the destination for a legal ceremony. Or, book a Caribbean cruise that calls on the U.S. Virgin Islands (or an Alaska or Hawaii cruise) and this option becomes even easier because you’ll be saying your vows on American soil. Wherever you choose, the line can arrange transportation to and from the ceremony and even handle the invitations.
