World’s auto giant returns to Iran

Volkswagen, the world’s largest automobile manufacturer, will return to the Iranian car market after an absence of 17 years, with Iran’s Mamut Khodro Co. as its partner.

This year, Volkswagen brand by its authorized representative, Mamut Khodro, will be featured at Tehran Auto Show, according to the Mamut Khodro, Mehr News Agency wrote.

The exhibition will be held from December 6 to 10 at the Shahr-e-aftab Exhibition Grounds.

Volkswagen Company will present its selected cars for the Iranian market at Mamut Khodro’s pavilion. Producing over 10 million vehicles annually, Volkswagen has won the title of the world’s largest automaker.
