Over 90 works to go on display at Fajr Int’l Festival of Visual Arts
The 10th edition of the Fajr International Festival of Visual Arts is set to showcase more than 90 works.
Holding a press conference at Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, the secretary of the festival Mojtaba Aqaei said that the festival will also hold exhibitions in more than 20 Iranian provinces, ifilmtv.ir reported.
The festival will showcase works by artists from Spain, Russia, Greece, Mexico, Turkey and some other countries at its international section.
A number of works by Iranian artists who have won prizes at various national and international events will be also showcased at Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center.
Furthermore, the Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran will host the display of a selection of works showcased during the past nine editions of the festival. The festival will open on January 23 at the Saba Art and Cultural Institute.
Center for Visual Arts of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in collaboration with the Institute for Development of Contemporary Visual Arts holds the Fajr International Festival of Visual Arts to introduce the genuine ideas as well as novel and creative art and creative research.
