Leader stresses confronting enemy soft war

-

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has advised artists to be revolutionary both in words and in action. According to IRNA, the Leader further instructed young documentary writers to keep moving in the revolutionary line and be careful their technical performance and professional reputation does not overcome the pure and revolutionary nature of their performance. “Show you are revolutionary and faithful in both words and in action.”

Ayatollah Khamenei said enemy’s soft war is based on lies, distortion, rumor and boycott. “Your art can foil enemy’s efforts through evidence. The 40-year history is full of evidence substantiating righteousness of the Islamic Republic of Iran and of false path and wrongdoing of enemies.”

The Leader said one of the basic goals of enemy is promoting pessimism and misfortune while there are many sources of hope in the country. “Your arts can serve as source of hope, joy and movement through relying on facts.”

While advising the artists to mind God’s consent, the Leader said critical documentary is helpful and necessary. “The tone of the work should be advisory and a breakthrough in nature. In criticizing, any hostile, disappointing and anarchic tone will turn the benefit into harm. The satirical language will make the work sonorant and helpful.”
