Iranian food festival held in Karachi
Iran’s Consulate General in the Pakistani port city of Karachi organized a traditional Iranian food festival to highlight Iranian culture.
The festival was organized with the participation of the Iranian women as part of celebrations for the New Iranian Year which started on March 21, IRNA wrote.
A ‘Haft Seen’ table was also adorned with seven traditional symbolic items whose names begin with the Persian letter S (Seen).
The festival was attended by the wife of Iran’s consul general, senior provincial officials, the wife of the speaker of the provincial assembly, diplomats, Iranian citizens as well as social and cultural figures.
The guests were introduced to 30 well-known Iranian cuisine.
