Culture minister: Historical, political documentation indebted to Art Bureau
Referring to the role of the Art Bureau in Iran’s oral and contemporary history, Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Abbas Salehi said that today we owe our social, historical and political documentation to the Art Bureau and its efforts.
Salehi made the statement at a ceremony to introduce the new manager of the Art Bureau, Mohammad-mehdi Dademan, adding that documentation is a kind of identification that is very helpful for the contemporary and future generations, IRNA reported.
The Art Bureau has been one of the basic pillars in the historical, social and political documentation of the country; it also presented an unforgettable report of the eight-year Holy Defense.
The Holy Defense is considered an Iranian treasure and is not equal to any period in the history of Iran, he said.
