- BY ALLAN PRESTON

THE funeral of a popular Co Fermanagh businessman who died suddenly while using a lawnmower will takes place this afternoon.

Ivan Bradshaw, who was in his 60s, was cutting the grass on the grounds of Drumhoney Caravan Park in Lisnarick when he died on Friday evening.

The family have said they understood he died of natural caus- es before the lawnmower toppled on top of him.

A family notice described him as the “dearly loved husband of Evelyn, devoted father of Jonathan, Stuart and Peter. Dear father-in-law of Kirsty, Edel and Gayle and a much loved grandfather of Luke, Naomi and Lexie”.

The funeral cortege will leave his home on Drumhoney Lane, Irvinestown at 12.45pm for the service in Priory Church, Killadeas at 2pm. Interment will follow at Sydare Cemetery.

On Sunday, Mr Bradshaw’s son Peter told the Belfast Telegraph they were taking some comfort from autopsy indications that he died naturally before falling.

He said: “My father was a massive personality and someone who can never be replaced.

“He lived a colourful life and he lived it to the full.

“He will be greatly missed as a businessman, a community and charity activist, but most of all as a husband, a father, a grandfather, a son and a brother.”
