So, where did domestic goddess Nigella dine out on her visit to Belfast?
SELF-styled domestic goddess Nigella Lawson caused a thrill in Belfast yesterday when she paid a flying visit to promote her latest book.
Glossy haired and chic in a black poloneck, the London-based celebrity chef and socialite greeted the long queue of fans that formed at Eason’s, excited to get a glimpse and a quick word.
Nigella, famed for her decadent recipes, had a dazzling smile for all who turned up to get their copy of At My Table signed by the TV star, who did so with a flourish.
Many took to social media to express their excitement at the meeting.
However, the queue proved too long for some, with Ashley McAllister tweeting a pho- tograph adding: “Papped the AMAZING @Nigella_Lawson in #Belfast today! The queue was too long for me: (next time lovely!”.
Following the book signing, Nigella went on to thrill local restaurateur Michael Deane by visiting his flagship eatery Deanes EIPIC for lunch.
Nigella then travelled to Dublin and dined at Etto on Merrion Row, after which she took to Twitter to rave about her meal, commenting: “Red wine prunes w (with) Vanilla mascarpone: last course of a truly exquisite dinner.”
She also appeared on RTE’s The Late Late Show last night, and tweeted about having a great time on her trip. This morning she is scheduled to take part in another signing at Dubray Books on Grafton Street.
