One of Northern Ireland’s greatest musical exports, Vivian Campbell, is set to receive this year’s Oh Yeah Legend Award.
The first half of the evening will see a selection of acts shortlisted for the NI Music Prize Album of the Year performing brief sets, followed by the awards ceremony.
Campbell will then perform a full live show with one of his bands, Last in Line.
His impressive CV also includes stints with Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake.

Although she’s probably always destined to be best known for her role as Bernie in 1991 hit movie The Commitments — based on the Roddy Doyle novel — Londonderry’s Bronagh Gallagher has carved out a very successful singing career for herself.
At tomorrow night’s candlelit, cabaret-style show, which is part of a short run of Irish and European gigs, expect to hear a selection of self-penned material complete with the unmistakable influences of Bronagh’s much-loved Sixties and Seventies soul and Motown performers.

Late Nineties nostalgia will be rife in Belfast next week as one of the biggest bands from that era play two shows in the SSE Arena, part of a huge UK and Ireland arena tour that marks both their 20th anniversary and the release of a new single and album.
Steps notched up 14 consecutive top five singles and sold more than 20 million records, as well as winning a Brit award and holding the record for the most consecutive sold-out nights at Wembley Arena.
Expect all the pop hits from Faye, H, Lee, Claire and Lisa, including 5,6,7,8, One for Sorrow and Tragedy, as well as tracks from new album, Tears On The Dancefloor.
Support comes from Dutch disco destroyers Vengaboys, best known for hits We’re Going to Ibiza and Boom, Boom Boom, Boom!
