How to nominate

Nominating is easy — your nomination (using up to 750 words) should include the following information:

Name, address and contact details of the nominee. If a team nomination, please include a representative name and contact details.

Details of the nominee/team/coach’s achievements (local, regional, national or international) in 2017 (for Hall of Fame refer to their entire sporting career). What steps have they taken to improve performance? For Paddy Patterson award include details of the nominee’s dedication, their contribution to sport (non-financial) and their impact on community/clubs/sport/individuals.

Outline the nominee/team/coach’s dedication to training using examples of where they have gone beyond the ‘norm’ to ensure progression. For Coach of the Year list examples of mentoring and development of other coaching staff. For Disability Sportsperson detail how they have overcome barriers/limitations.

Describe any other key achievements or contribution the nominee/team/coach has made to their sport in Northern Ireland.

What do they aspire to do next? How do they plan to achieve it?

What is it about the nominee/team/coach that you find inspiring?

What makes them a good role model and to whom?

Provide any additional relevant information.
