PM ‘still believes the basis for a Stormont agreement exists’

-

Dave Hutch: If Theresa May had any guts, she’d call the parties together, along with Dublin, and tell them Northern Ireland is part of the UK and there will be no Irish language act, because English is the language of the UK.

Jake O Donnghaile: Will she do that with the Scottish and Welsh parties? They have language acts and are part of the UK.

Philip Stephenson: Jake O Donnghaile, the language of Northern Ireland is English, so why promote a useless language act? Waste of money.

Jake O Donnghaile: Philip, for something that’s a waste of money, I don’t hear the Scots or Welsh moaning about it.

Angela Duffy: The View on BBC was interesting. Does anyone know what planet Gregory Campbell is on?

Dave Hutch:

Yes, planet Earth, living in the real world, unlike Shin Fake.

Angela Duffy: Oh dear, Dave. Have to disagree. Fancy the party rolling him out in front of media when he had no clue about what had been going on in talks. Cringeworthy.

David Ganley: Stop paying their wages and make them pay back everything they have received since they have not been working. You will soon see a change in attitude. Michael Crowe: The six counties is a failed political entity and will continue to be so while our country is divided.

Simon Downey: Behave yourself, Michael. You cannot force a united Ireland on unionists.

Matthew Magowan: It’s Sinn Fein who are the failed entity. Willing to let their own people suffer just to get what they want. They’d step over the most diehard republican’s dead body to get what they want and not even blink. Sinn Fein want to rule this island as a whole and will use any means necessary to do it. At least the likes of the SDLP want things to work.

Aidan Tasker-Lynch: The Prime Minister put Northern Ireland in the dark ages when she forged an alliance with the DUP, which has emboldened them and directly led to the impasse. What a mess the Tories have made.
