MPs’ outrage over SAS flags ‘shows Sinn Fein double standards’

-

Darren Massey: Are these people for real? If no one should glorify the death of anyone, then why do Sinn Fein hold a parade every year glorifying the eight men who were involved in the botched murder mission?

Seosamh O Murchu: You March on the 12th of July glorifying the slaughter of innocent Catholics.

Darren Massey: If you fight someone in battle, how are they innocent? Sandra Simpson: More republican bile, eh Seosamh?

Darren Massey: Sandra, they’re a strange bunch. Seosamh seems to think everyone who fought for James at the Battle of the Boyne were innocent Catholics. Talk about rewriting history.

June Johnston: Exactly, Darren.

Jorgen Hartogs: You do realise that the Battle of the Boyne wasn’t a religious battle and that Catholics and Protestants fought on both sides? Almost every noble family in Ireland had one or more family members fighting in the battle — and more often than not on opposite sides.

Peter Logan: Ssshhh, Jorgen. If you tell them the truth, they’ll have one less thing to be offended by.

Andrew Frazer: A certain play-park comes to mind.

Oh, I see. That’s different.

Jorgen Hartogs: I take no sides. Politicians on both sides only act like they are offended, but support taunting by their side.

Steven McGivern: Some of King Billy’s men were Catholics, as well.

Darren Massey: And all with the Pope’s blessing and support, Steven.

South Londonderry RSC: Sinn Fein weren’t so quick in condemning their own henchmen when they were planting bombs on buses full of schoolchildren and shooting elderly folk in their beds.

Stevo O’Neill: I don’t agree with flags that offend, especially after all these years. But the cause of the people planting the bombs and stuff was in response to the British Government and their horrific tactics on normal Irish people from the north.
