of sunshine” and said that they were “incredibly proud of what he achieved”.

Lorraine said: “The Harry Potter books were Finn’s inspiration for his YouTube channel and he chose the Phoenix as his own Petronus.

“The channel was a huge distraction for him and gave him a focus through a very difficult time.

“It became a source of pleasure for him in entertaining others.

Dad Oisin added: “We are so incredibly proud of him and are heartbroken.

“He was courageous to the end and his positivity always shone through.”

“We had a chat with Finn and came up with the idea of getting 1,000 subscribers for his channel, and it helped to take his mind off things,” his dad added.

“He got so many more and they should know that they made a little boy very happy.”
