Stand-alone wedding pavilion completes £750k refurbishment at Co Antrim hotel
A LOCAL hotel has opened a purpose-built wedding pavilion.
The building, part of a £750,000 outlay, will provide a stand-alone building for weddings at the Rosspark in Kells.
Director Keith Carmichael said it had a number of unique features.
He explained: “We started the building work on the pavilion in November 2017 out in the grounds of the hotel.
“We then commenced a programme of interior refurbishments in January 2018. Having spent a total of £750,000, we feel that we have a very special product to offer discerning couples wanting that something more for their wedding day or civil ceremony.
“The wedding pavilion, seating up to 120 guests, comes with a host of the latest technology.
“We have the option to record your wedding service and are also able to stream the wedding service live worldwide to those who cannot attend.
“The wedding pavilion, set in wooded grounds, has natural daylight and a feature window showcasing tranquil gardens.
“It has been interior-designed in a neutral theme with light wood upholstered pews, cream aisle carpet and beautiful light fittings. Within the hotel, the Ross Suite has been finished to a high standard including fitted fairy light backdrop curtains, new mirrors, carpeting and wall coverings.
“The finishing touch is our stunning three-ring chandelier.”
