Primark ‘committed’ to Belfast and to resume trading ‘as soon as possible’

-

Kirsty Kelly: The old B&Q site on Boucher Road would be perfect. Massive car-park, too. I, for one, would be in it daily.

Nicola Alexander: I said the same. It would be absolutely amazing.

Paula Carson: It’s already occupied.

Brenda Mannagh McMeekin: Would need a bus to get to it. So many of us don’t have a car. I was in it three times a week, coming from Bangor by train. It needs to stay central for many customers like myself.

Stuart Neilly: If there isn’t one at Junction One, it could open there and, possibly, stay there when they re-open in Belfast. Win, win.

Irene Edgar: Flagship Centre in Bangor would be a great place for Primark.

Lynsey Singh: Totally agree.

Una Barr: Bangor’s not Belfast.

Brenda Mannagh McMeekin: Irene Edgar, I have been saying that for years. Primark would bring so many into the Flagship Centre again, letting other shops open there again.

Jacqui Brown: Definitely not Bangor. I just wouldn’t go — too far.

Grainne Carson: Can a normal Tesco open, too?

It’s awful not having them both. That Tesco Express is a joke.

Helen Coard: It’s great to hear of a company that looks after their staff.

Amelia Kai: I just love the lack of understanding that location is one of the most important aspects of a business.

Sandra Kennedy: Where Dunnes was in Connswater would be great in the meantime.

Lisa Bunting: It’s already been taken over by a store called Guineys.

Betty Dunseath: The old BHS would be good.

Nicole Wilson: That’s a shame after spending all that money on it.

Kirsty Kelly: Could you imagine how busy it would be at Boucher? It would be amazing. Primark would be a goldmine at that site and attract thousands of people.
