Rat infestation warning near Belfast Primark site

-

Kerri Stothers:

There’s always been rats. Remember seeing them when I started work. They were running about Donegall Place.

Andrea Gourley:

Sure, the river runs underneath there, right down High Street and out at the weir. Of course there are rats.

Arianna Petruccioli: The only way to fight rats is with cats. In every city with the same issue, that’s the normal solution.

Emma McMurray:

As long as they stay outside. I wouldn’t like them too close.

Jenni Fawcett:

I’m definitely not Xmas shopping in Belfast this year.

Bill Owen: Make way for the plague. Michael Vint: Plenty running about that town.

Philip McLearnon: Belfast city centre: closed for business.

Nikita Bailie: I’m also avoiding Belfast now.

Amy Bickerstaff: Oh, jeez.

Janette Ireland: What’s the council doing about it? Nothing (as usual). Eilis Blee: You may tuck your trousers into your socks.

Alex McCosh: Won’t be near it again. What else can go wrong in Belfast?

Sinead O’Neill Blakely: Poor Belfast.

Josh-John Foster: Does anyone know if any of the surrounding stores have been allowed access? I would imagine, if they haven’t, that they are swimming with rats. That’s going to be some scene in four or five months’ time.

Mark Simms: Yes, JoshJohn. Workers are allowed to go into the store when a fire cordon is in place with a strict no-entry zone.

Anna-Lee Corbett: Oh my God.

Roisin McCusker: It gets worse.
