Apprentice star Dr Leah announces engagement to ‘the most amazing man on the planet’... but doesn’t say who he is

Ireland ‘Botox queen’ and former Apprentice winner Leah Totton has announced her engagement to a mystery man.

The 30-year-old former medic revealed the happy news on Twitter ahead of the new series of the BBC One show last night.

Posting a photograph of a huge diamond ring on the fourth finger of her left hand, Dr Totton wrote: “I am genuinely delighted to share the news that I am engaged.”

The reality television star added: “My fiance is the most amazing man on the planet, I am beyond grateful to have him in my life and so excited to become his wife!”

She then finished the post with several hashtags, including “life is beautiful”, “blessed”, and “The Apprentice” — and left fans and followers wondering who the lucky man is.

The beauty entrepreneur was congratulated by supporters and friends as well as fellow ex-candidate in the 2013 series of the show Luisa Zissman, who tweeted: “Yay the secret is out !!!! So happy for you both.”

Despite turning to social media with her relationship update yesterday, Leah has remained tight-lipped about her fiance after putting her personal life on lockdown following an earlier split from fellow Apprentice winner Mark Wright in 2016.

Lord Sugar invested £250,000 in Leah’s business after she won series nine aged just 24 with a business plan to open a string of drop-in cosmetic surgery centres. Her cosmetic skincare clinic business enjoyed record sales and profits last year, and last month it emerged that she had already made her first million — just five years after winning the show.

At the time people labelled her final showdown with Zissman the “battle of the bimbos” and she has proved a divisive figure, with some leading cosNORTHERN metic surgeons claiming her level of experience when she launched her business was inadequate.

But Leah went on to open a successful clinic in Moorgate, central London, soon after being told “you’re hired” by the business tycoon and she now owns another centre and is set to open two more.

Lord Sugar admitted it was the promised high-profit margins that persuaded him to choose Dr Totton, and she has since delivered on her promise.
