SDL PM LA calls for Foster to quit over Good Friday Agreement comments
Darrell O Mairtin: She’s got foot and mouth.
Kay Grieve: And she’s against same-sex marriage.
Daniele Pierdicca: No chance. She’s at the top now. Thanks to the Conservative Party, this bunch of dinosaurs are controlling and dictating what to do in the UK.
Olive Brownrigg: She has further to fall. There’s a saying in the old country,
be good to people on the way up, because you may need them on the way down.
John Price: She just opens her mouth to change feet.
Margaret O’Hare: Didn’t she leave the UUP in 2004 and join the DUP because she didn’t agree with the GFA?
Dana Jamison: The GFA has already been altered. Nothing is set in stone, as we all know here.
Ciaran Gallagher : Arlene Foster doesn’t have the right to dismiss the GFA. RHI disgrace demolished any credibility.
Olive Brownrigg: What an ambassador she is. The rest of the UK must feel our pain.
Roberta Harte: It has been already changed twice before. Get a life, everybody.
Darrell O Mairtin:
Changed before it was
signed. Can’t change a contract after it’s signed. Kind of basic contract law principle there.
Colin Rainey: You can change a contract after it’s signed as long as all the signatories agree to the changes. Contract amendments are done all the time.
Darrell O Mairtin: How long did it take to get the agreement signed? Because I’m pretty sure that would be a contributing
factor in why it could not be amended afterwards.
Peter Brown: It already has been changed. Check out the Stormont House and St Andrew’s agreements. And it’s not a legally binding contract; it’s an international treaty, which is a completely different thing.
Tom McCord: All the MLAs should resign. Waste of taxpayers’ money.
