Senior One: Castle v CI (1pm); Omagh v Armagh (2.30pm); Priorians v North Down (2.30pm); Raphoe v Club KV (1pm). NINE Ulster players have been included in an extended Irish Under-18 squad which is preparing for the 2020 European Championsh­ip.

Ulster were runners-up to Leinster in the inter-provincial series in Dublin and half of that squad have made the cut in the 33-strong Ireland panel.

The Ulster girls selected for trials, the second of which is this weekend in Dublin, are from a range of schools and all of them play for clubs in the Ulster Premier League.

Before the Europeans, an Irish squad will take part in a Six Nations series to be staged on the continent next summer.
